Learn & Support

Since we opened, we have been committed to supporting our community. We donate to many mid-Missouri based charities and organizations as well as numerous Indigenous organizations. Even though we are not affiliated directly with these organizations we donate to them yearly through our company. If you wish to learn more about these organizations or potentially donate please check out the information listed below.

Friends of Pine Ridge Reservation

“Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota is home to the Oglala Sioux Tribe with an estimated population of close to 40,000. The reservation is large, and its needs immense, commensurate with grinding poverty. We focus on specific needs of the many schools and social service organizations such as shelters, children’s organizations, and clinics physically located on the reservation.”

St Joseph’s Indian School

“Since 1927, St. Joseph’s Indian School has served Lakota (Sioux) children and families.

Our mission is to educate Native American children and their families for life — mind, body, heart and spirit. This mission drives our organization to educate and provide housing for over 200 Lakota (Sioux) children each year — all at no cost to their families.

Child poverty and abuse are serious issues on Indian reservations. By supporting St. Joseph’s Indian School, you are helping Native American children in need reestablish pride in their culture by learning the Lakota language, studying Native American culture and healing the broken family circle from which they come.”

Trees, Water & People

“Our mission is to improve people’s lives by helping communities protect, conserve, and manage the natural resources upon which their long-term well-being depends.

Trees, Water & People was cofounded in 1998 by Richard Fox and Stuart Conway, two foresters and friends who saw an urgent need to address the pervasive deforestation in Latin America. As their vision evolved, they quickly realized that without addressing the underlying causes of deforestation, they would never be able to stop it.

For over twenty years, Trees, Water & People has been a leader in the design and implementation of programs that produce tangible benefits for people and planet. Today, our work is more urgent than ever, as climate change threatens the livelihoods of millions of people in our region.”

St. Labre Indian School

“Give the gift of a brighter future for Native American boys and girls.

At St. Labre Indian School, we believe in the power of education to transform lives. And we know firsthand how important it is for young boys and girls to receive a quality education if they are to break the cycle of poverty.

That’s why we need your help now. You can help St. Labre continue to provide a first-class education to hundreds of Northern Cheyenne and Crow children at our three schools. And your support also helps us provide much-needed community services to families in need.”
